CCPA Shield is operated by FinalBoss Technology Inc. (“we”, “us”). This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use ccpa.finalbosstech.com (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Contact information (name, email, company) when you use our contact form
  • Domain names you submit for scanning

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address and browser type (standard web server logs)
  • Pages visited and scan activity

Information we do NOT collect:

  • We do not use third-party tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel)
  • We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties
  • We do not use cookies for advertising

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To perform CCPA compliance scans on domains you submit
  • To respond to your contact form submissions
  • To generate compliance reports and receipts
  • To improve the Service

4. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you (§1798.100)
  • Delete your personal information (§1798.105)
  • Opt-out of the sale of your personal information (§1798.120) — we do not sell your data
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights (§1798.125)

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Scan results are processed in real-time and not permanently stored unless you create an account.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months. Scan results are generated in real-time and not stored on our servers after delivery. VE&TA receipts are cryptographically generated and can be independently verified.

7. Do Not Sell

We do not sell or share your personal information. Period. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
