Your Rights Under the CCPA

The California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.100–1798.199) gives California residents the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale of their personal information. Businesses must acknowledge requests to know, delete, or correct within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (one 45-day extension permitted with notice). Requests to opt out or limit sensitive PI must be honored within 15 business days.
