1. Service Description

CCPA Shield (“Service”) is a CCPA compliance scanning and reporting platform operated by FinalBoss Technology Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”). The Service provides automated website scanning, compliance grading, financial exposure estimation, and compliance document generation.

2. Acceptable Use

You may only scan websites that you own or have explicit authorization to scan. Unauthorized scanning of third-party websites is prohibited. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to scan websites without authorization
  • Attempt to overload, disrupt, or exploit the scanning infrastructure
  • Use scan results to harass, threaten, or extort website operators
  • Resell or redistribute scan results without written permission
  • Reverse-engineer the scanning methodology or VE&TA receipt system

3. Disclaimer

CCPA Shield provides compliance scanning tools and informational reports. The Service is NOT a substitute for legal advice. Scan results are based on automated analysis of publicly accessible website content and may not reflect the complete compliance posture of any organization. We do not guarantee that following our recommendations will ensure full CCPA compliance.

4. Intellectual Property

VE&TA (Verifiable Enforcement & Token Architecture) is proprietary technology of FinalBoss Technology Inc. Patent Pending Examination. All scan receipts, integrity tokens, and cryptographic attestations are generated using proprietary methods.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinalBoss Technology Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these terms. You may discontinue use at any time.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ventura County, California.
